In an unusual coincidence, on the same day an international ministry announced a name change, my current employer announced a change in its logo. Well, “announced” is a bit too formal. An internal e-mail was sent to let us know about it and to ask that we make the change once we use up our current material with the old logo on it. (We’re rather practical about those sorts of things these days.)
So here at Grace University we’ve made the change from this:
I am in the bottom quintile of sensibility when it comes to matters of art and graphic media, so I’ll leave it to others to remark on the improvements. I do appreciate the retention, though, of the language elements that make clear communication and understanding much more likely.
